Joseph Tenison’s passion for building began during his childhood in Alaska. His collaborations with his uncles on diverse construction projects nurtured his love for the field.

This love brought him to Arizona State University, where he refined his skills by participating in numerous home remodels and rebuilds. In 2007 he earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture, which furthered his passion for the art of creating beautiful homes. He enriched this passion by working with esteemed architects on new build projects.

Determined to broaden his horizons, Joseph pursued a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, which he completed with distinction. This academic journey allowed him to integrate his flair for design with his talent for construction, working at the intersection of creativity and practicality.

Over the past two decades, Joseph has embarked on various successful business ventures, primarily focusing on custom home remodels and additions. He recognized a gap in the market for custom-spec homes of the highest quality, and he was motivated to address this demand. His dedication and expertise led to the formal establishment of Denali Development and Construction in 2020.
